Growth and Positioning Strategies for Associations

For CEO’s of mid- to large sized healthcare associations in the DC Metro area.  These CEO’s are also able to bring their “second in command” as guests to the forum.

Created in 2012, --- a forum for the CEO’s of mid- to large sized healthcare associations based in the DC Metro area.

This forum is by-invitation-only and capped at approximately 25 members who make an annual commitment to each other to actively participate.  No vendors other than the facilitators from Vertical Leap Consulting and our alliance partners (limited to one or two per meeting). While there is a one-year membership term, there are no dues or meeting fees.”

plugged inTiming & Location

This forum meets 3 times during the year for approximately 3 hours per meeting, generally beginning at Noon.  These meetings are scheduled at the start of each year to avoid members’ annual meetings, etc.  Forum members rotate hosting the meeting and providing a simple lunch for the group.

The peer advisory dialogue addresses both:

  • Shared “up at night” issues, and
  • Each organization’s specific objectives

Peer dialogue format.  Members select 2 primary topics in advance of each meeting to have drill-down dialogue, and we reserve some time for “got to have it tomorrow” advice from the group.
